You know 'Mad Flavor' from his appearances on the Joe Rogan Experience and his own hilarious podcast, Beauty and Da Beast. He's also appeared in the movies Spiderman 2, The Longest Yard, Analyze That and on the TV shows My Name Is Earl, Everybody Hates Chris and How I Met Your Mother. He's been referred to as the Blue Collar Mark Twain. He is a celebrated writer, literary reviewer and music pundit. His life and work were adapted into a phenomenal 2003 movie where he was portrayed brilliantly by actor Paul Giamatti. This time out we have the honor speaking with Tony Award winner John Lloyd Young. Mr. Young is of course best known for playing the role of Frankie Valli in the blockbuster Broadway musical Jersey Boys. He is the only American actor to date to have received a Lead Actor in a Musical Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle and Theatre World Award for a Broadway debut. Best known for her role as Nellie Oleson in the NBC television series Little House on the Prairie, actress and comedian Alison Arngrim joins us for our 20th episode. Alison's new book is titled 'Confessions of a Prairie Bitch: How I Survived Nellie Oleson and Learned to Love Being Hated'. During our conversation, Alison delivers frank recollections on: growing up as a child actor, her relationships with fellow Little House castmates and survivng sexual abuse. We also discuss her activism for organizations like and various AIDS charities. Providing music this week, is an incredible bluegrass/country/folk hybrid from Martinsburg, West Virginia. This episode, our guest & musical feature is the mega-talented Jackie Tohn. Most people remember her from season eight of Fox's 'American Idol'. Truth is, Jackie has been exercising her talents as an actress & musician for quite some time. Her first acting gig of note was alongside Fran Drescher on 'The Nanny' at age 12. She has 3 music albums to her credit, the latest one entitled '2.YO'. She's also appeared in the television shows The Sopranos, Strangers with Candy, Angel, Veronica Mars, and It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.
